his stage targets to create the series of local activities designed and run by the participants of the stage 1, with the support of partner organizations. In a short-term understanding, within the project context, it serves the purpose of putting the learning into practice and creating good examples of using outdoor adventure education in grass-root youth work. In long-term, we envision it to promote OAE as an educational methodology in general and support the partner organizations to establish/upgrade educational modules using nature and OAE principles in their youth work.Apart from the series of local workshops, stage 2 also includes a youth exchange in Ukraine, hosted by NGO Logos, bringing together young people recruited during the local activities, allowing them to be part of an educational, international outdoor youth project.

Logos Ukraine was founded in 2013 by the group of friends that had attended multiple different international projects. During several years being a part of multicultural environment we imbued the idea of global diversity and international neighborliness.
The main goal of the organisation is to bring the idea of intercultural cooperation to Ukrainian young people providing them with various opportunities to explore the world and broaden their outlook. Three main areas of work of the organisation are: international exchanges, non-formal education and tolerance popularization. Since last year we are also focused on the hygiene of information and creation of methods how it could be implemented in daily life. Our team is group or young and active people who want to bring some positive change to local and international society.
Through our activities, we provide youngsters with opportunities for learning and self-development. We want to make an impact to the society we live in showing people how great and diverse this world is. We act consciously and meaningfully.
We want to develop society we live in and build it according to our peace values. Among our value there are tolerance, learning and developing, flexibility, enjoying and improving society.
In 2018 we participated as partners in more than 40 international projects, seminars, events, workshops, festivals, open events and exchanges . In 2019 we took hold and took part in 57 projects providing opportunities for young people from Ukraine to develop themselves and work on their capacities.
We have also organized local projects and participated as co-organizers in international ones. During these years members of the organisation participated in various international projects and exchanges.
Supporting the idea of Ukraine being a part of the European family we want young people of our country to have a chance to meet other cultures of this family, get familiar with the values and share the experience.
In May 2018 we hold the project “Carpathian.Lab”. An ideal opportunity to explore the beauty, diversity, fragility of the Ukrainian Carpathian mountains. The goal of the project was to engage youth into range of workshops on up-cycling and sustainable practices.
In July 2019 we organized and hold the youth exchange “CARPATHIAN EXPLORE” promote intercultural exchange and awareness, and connect young people from differing national, ethnic and cultural backgrounds. We aimed at learning about different European cultures, cuisine and nature promoting sustainable and ecological life-style, encouraging active citizenship through learning about problems and challenges in different countries.
Continuing spreading ideas of outdoor education LOGOS hold the youth exchange “CARPATHIAN STORIES” (August 2019) with important themes of environmental awareness and sustainability, equipping participants with skills in digital media literacy, and providing an intercultural exchange in an outdoor setting using non formal learning and experiential education.
Additionally, we were partners in the youth exchanges and training courses about outdoor education, where our participants were able to discover or to compare new opportunities, to meet people living close to the nature everyday and having a better understanding about tradition life and to find out more about different cultures.

The working methods of NHF programs include service learning and adventure education, and our main innovative educational programs are : the VIATA Camp , the IMPACT Program (an international network of Community Initiative Clubs for Youth) , Architects of Education, Community Schools and Semester Abroad Program.
VIATA Camp, the first adventure education camp in Romania, takes place on the Straja mountain resort, Hunedoara county.
It is an experiential education program that uses adventure education and service learning as main tools.
In our ropes course camp, every week participants experience different activities (high and low ropes course, rock climbing, hiking, orienteering etc.) and learn practical skills necessary in everyday life. VIATA Camp, using adventure education takes participants out of the environment they are used to and offers activities that have a higher level of challenge.
We use fun and adventure to promote life skills and positive values between young people .
VIATA Camp brought together around 15 000 participants so far, and it is not only a place for recreation and entertainment, but a life experience.
New Horizons Foundation believes in the transformative power of education, which is why we work with youth, teachers, school principals, and volunteers to transform the educational system and to truly help young people to become better, stronger and wiser.
Fundacja Pracownia Nauki i Przygody (Manufacture of Science and Adventure) is a non-governmental organization founded in 2010. Since 2012 we are a foundation. Our goals are very simple: we
want to change the world through education. We are inspired by experiential, adventure, outdoor education and modern science communication.
We use outdoors as a tool – we believe that natural environment creates the best conditions to achieve our goals and also teaches the youth to respect the nature.
Our team consists of teachers, trainers, tourists, hikers, scouts, sailors and scientists. We believe that this variety of backgrounds and areas of
expertise boost the team’s synergy!
Our goals are very simple: we want to change the world through education.
Outdoor education is not very well known in Poland and only few teachers, educators, youth leaders use methods based on experiential education. We want to change it!
We believe that there are many skills and abilities (mostly social skills) that are not trained in Polish educational system, so we do our best to fill in this gap.
We organize trips, workshops and projects for youth and adults that help them develop and learn.
One of our favorite tool is a Low Rope Course – we are pioneers in Poland in applying it in education.
We run several continuous projects:
• Discovers Meeting – classes for children based on chemical, biological and physical experiments;
• Conference Adventure Education;
• Academy of Adventure Education;
• trainings for trainers, teachers and educators promoting the methods we use;
• Mobile Low Ropes Course projects
• Urban playground games for seniors.
We are a member of international networks: Outdoors As a Tool and European Institute of Outdoor Adventure Experiential Education.
We run a lot of international projects with our partners
